Enterprise Safety Loss Prevention Manager

Chattanooga, TN

The Manager of Enterprise Loss Prevention Safety is responsible for ensuring all areas reporting to them are meeting Compliance in relation to FMCSA Standards and internal processes and policies are being met to standard. This position will work to ensure Board approved metrics are being met, and the integrity of the Telematics and CS Stars systems is maintained

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring Compliance with DOT Requirements in accordance with FMCSA.
  • Work well with Operations and Training to ensure DOT and Critical Metrics are being met.
  • Supervise workflow of direct reports within the Safety Department.
  • Responsible for Individual and Group KPI’s.
  • Oversee daily operations with personnel issues and training.
  • Must adhere to all FMCSA requirements as well as Company Policies set forth.
  • Ability to learn other functions and backup others.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly performance goals.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Implement new workflow processes as required.
  • Audit all applicable areas to ensure employee adherence to company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments as needed.
  • Assure proper accountability is delivered for motor vehicle accidents and incidents.
  • Oversee hours of service group and ensure proper handling of violations.
  • Conduct DOT compliance audits

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret data and use data to implement policy.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of FMCSA and DOT laws and regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time.
  • Skilled with internal claim system technology.
  • Detail oriented and accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes.
  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally and possible cross-training.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in transportation safety required.
  • 2+ years’ prior supervisory experience required.

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory. 

Pay Range: $56,146.95-$88,833.12

Pay Grade: 9
