Driver Support Analyst

Chattanooga, TN

The Driver Support Analyst will build and distribute various reports for the maintenance department. Reporting will vary from fuel reports, equipment/asset reports, and maintenance cost reports. The position will also process various billing invoices and record keeping in various platforms. The role will also be responsible for identifying invoicing issues and determining course of action to correct discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and distribute fuel reports.
  • Build and distribute ad hoc reports for maintenance costs, trade costs, and trend analysis.
  • Assist with reporting of equipment needs, utilization, trade plans, and new delivery schedules.
  • Enter invoice charges in asset maintenance system using VRMS codes, create virtual payments, and send payments to vendor.
  • Meet established deadline of invoice payment to vendors.
  • ⁠Assist in developing best practices based on analytics and data reporting.
  • Handle minor to medium level invoice issues.
  • Work closely with and maintain a strong line of communication with many company departments and external vendors.
  • Work with and communicate with vendors to ensure timely payment plans.

  • Ability to adapt to changes and additions to job tasks as this role evolves with the development of the department.
  • Must have the ability to work from home if/when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in logistics industry preferred.
