Procurement Manager
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing procurement and accounts payable operations, ensuring timely processing of vendor payments while supporting enterprise sourcing initiatives. This role leads process improvement efforts, manages vendor relationships, supports system implementations, and provides leadership to the procurement and AP team to drive operational efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise in procurement and invoicing processes.
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and performance management for assigned procurement and accounts payable team members.
- Assists Accounts Payable Lead with answering department and vendor questions.
- Provides project support for new system implementations, systems upgrades, annual system updates and system enhancements.
- Evaluate performance against established KPIs and support ongoing development of direct reports.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoicing, check runs, and T&E payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Research and apply AP best practices in collaboration with the Director of Procurement.
- Collaborate with leaders across the enterprise, ensuring that the Accounts Payable department can support business needs.
- Oversee vendor sourcing activities and supplier relationship management to support business needs and operational efficiency.
- Support the negotiation of vendor contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms in collaboration with leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and support procurement and AP process improvements, automation efforts, and system enhancements.
- Provide project support for new system implementations, upgrades, and annual system updates in partnership with IT and leadership. Create, maintain, and update departmental SOPs to ensure standardized processing.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including proficiency with Excel.

- Knowledge of accounting or financial systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate solutions that support operational efficiency and vendor satisfaction.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or similar field required. 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
- Previous experience within the logistics industry preferred
- 3+ years’ accounts payable or other relevant experience required. Previous personnel management experience preferred

- Pay Range: $56,160.00-$88,816.00
