Armed Security & Investigations Supervisor

Chattanooga, TN

The Armed Security and Investigations Supervisor is responsible for the direct management and oversight of all armed security guards across the enterprise. Additionally, this position will conduct and assist with investigations in support of the Sr. Manager of Security and Investigations and other departments across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and direct the team of Armed Security Officers.
  • ⁠Oversee enterprise remote terminal security.
  • Assist Senior Manager of Security and Investigations with all investigations.
  • Manage and track enterprise’s first aid supplies and replenishment on a regular basis.
  • Provide first aid to employees, vendors, or visitors who need assistance.
  • Conduct and ensure all Armed Security Officers are current and up to date with all required training.
  • Be the point of contact for any incident of workplace violence.
  • Maintain current training for investigations and implement training to Armed Security Officers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams under difficult or stressful situations.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with firearms.
  • Ability to write policies and procedures related to security positions.
  • Advanced knowledge of security operations, safety practices in business and environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to lead others during high stress situations.
  • Strong leaderships skills and ability to grow and develop team members.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in security, military, and/or law enforcement required.
  • Investigation experience required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Possess Tennessee Armed Security License required.
  • Conceal Carry Permit required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

  • Expected Pay Range: $49,657.32-$56,492.80
  • Full Pay Range: $49,657.32-$77,923.79
  • Pay Grade: 8
