This position is responsible for identifying, recruiting, qualifying, and hiring professional drivers for Covenant Logistics. This role is results-driven and is measured by hiring productivity relative to hours worked rather than traditional recruiting activity metrics. The recruiter will maintain candidate relationships, ensure timely communication, and deliver qualified hires that support Covenant's operational hiring needs.

Responsibilities

•  Recruit qualified professional drivers for Covenant Logistics.
•  Screen applicants to ensure they meet Covenant hiring qualifications.
•  Guide candidates through the recruiting and hiring process from initial contact through orientation.
•  Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
•  Maintain communication with assigned candidates every seven (7) days to retain lead ownership.
•  Follow all Covenant Recruiting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective drivers.
• Work independently while managing a flexible work schedule.
• Meet established hiring productivity expectations based on hours worked.

• Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Sales or Telemarketing experience preferred.

The posted range reflects the full pay band for the position. The expected pay range below represents where most candidates are hired, based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.

• Expected Pay Range: $19.23-$21.75
• Full Pay Range: $19.23-$29.87
• Pay Grade: 6
