Warehouse Operations Supervisor
The Operations Supervisor handles all aspects of the day to day shift operation for the assigned site. This includes ensuring all KPIs for the shift are met and the next shift is set up for success which will allow the building to meet the operation and profitability goals.
Responsibilities
Assist General Manager to Ensure; Building Safety & Planning
- Ensure all Safety documents are signed of on and all safety procedures are followed
- All PPE are in place and used as instructed
- Ensure lifts are signed out and inspected
Assist General Manager to Ensure; Labor Planning
- Plan labor to follow production or customer needs
- Utilize labor for VAS (value added services)
- Remove excessive labor for profitability and efficiency
- Track and train associates to maximize utilization
- Assist in retention and turnover
Work Closely with General Manager to Support Staff Development by Cross Training/On-Job Training
- Conduct daily start up meetings and present daily plan and provide updates
- Train, motivate and assist in the development and growth of employees
- Implement and maintain continuous improvement program
- Challenge employees to be more productive
Support and assist the General Manager Implement Productivity Improvements
- Study processes using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S Methodology to improve processes and eliminate waste
- Improve processes when possible and implement them as new standards
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and decision making skills desired
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Ability and availability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed by the customer
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software required
- Diploma or GED Equivalency
- Prior Forklift Experience preferred
- Prior RF Unit Experience preferred
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and decision making skills desired
- Prior Warehouse Leadership Preferred

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $60,895.55-$95,559.17
Pay Grade: 8
