Office Administrator
The purpose of the Office Administrator role is to lead and handle all aspects of the administrative operation for the warehouse or distribution center sites including but not limited to paperwork processing, data entry, scheduling, reporting, metrics, and document control thus ensuring all administrative processing is in support of KPI’s for the operation which will allow the building to meet the operation and profitability goals
Responsibilities
- Ensure all data entry, scheduling updates, and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily warehouse operations.
- Receiving of product-Landair WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and SAP operating systems.
- Shipping of Product-Landair WMS and SAP operating systems.
- Scheduling (Updates in WA, Daily schedule, Excel Logs)
- Data Entry
- Serve as backup to inventory control tasks
- Serve as a line of communication between the customer and company when needed
- Assist with facility safety measures as needed and adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist with labor request between operations, recruiting and staffing agencies
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees
- Assist Lead Associates as needed
- Monitor attendance and turnover for the facility
- Document and track metrics for the facility as needed
- Ensure all documents are filed accordingly
- Send applicable employee documents to HR for employee file documentation
- Maintain baseline productivity goals daily.
- Ensure work quality meets customer standards daily.
- Always maintain a clean work environment and housekeeping standards.
- Identify issues, errors, discrepancies, or other negatively impacting performance factors in a timely manner to allow for corrective action and resolution.
- Record, maintain, and keep detailed records of communications, emails, and metrics
- Perform routine audits as directed in a timely manner and provide accurate and consistent results.
- Train and guide Administrative Assistants when necessary
Qualifications
- Skilled in Microsoft 365 software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to perform duties in loud environments and high traffic areas (including people and forklifts)
- Ability to work or perform activities in a color coded and organized environment
- Know or be able to learn SAP
- Ability to communicate with others in-person, over the phone, over two-way radio and on the computer in a clear and respectful manner
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed
- Good leadership skills.
- General safety knowledge
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience required.
- 3 – 5 years of previous administrative experience is required.
- 1-2 years of leadership experience is require

Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $48,380.80-$53,206.40
Pay Grade: 4
