Inventory Control Manager

Bloomington, CA

The purpose of the Inventory Control Manager position is to ensure all aspects of inventory control (physical inventory and administrative) for the facility are accurate and complete.

Responsibilities

• Process compliance, monitoring and auditing for both Inbound and outbound coordinators.

• Process compliance, monitoring and auditing of Physical and perpetual inventory functions.

• Process compliance and audit responsibility for all of the Logistics coordinators.

• Responsible for Bi monthly Inventory snapshots that are submitted to Customer

• Communicates daily with Customer personnel regarding Inventory adjustments

• Ultimate responsibility for HOLD categories regarding Product that has been either flagged or released

• Works closely with Inventory leads to ensure 24/7 Inventory accuracy.

• Process management lead when changes need to happen in the Customer environment

• Responsible for purging slow moving and obsolete inventory for the Customer

• Responsible for CHEP pallet accountability and weekly reconciliation

• Responsible for the training and cross training of all direct reports.

• Responsible to be expert at all Customer and Covenant WMS functionality.

Qualifications 

  • Excellent communication skills in person, or by computer, telephone, 2-way radio, cell phone
  • Knowledge of hazardous material
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to falling objects and forklift traffic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Know or be able to learn HighJump WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Oracle, and/or SAP Operating System.
  • Know or be able to learn WMS and customer ERP if necessary
  • Proficient Skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • 2+ Years leadership experience in Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Food grade facility experience, a plus
  • HighJump WMS experience, a plus
  • SAP experience, a plus

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory. 

Pay Range: $81,244.80-$94,452.80

Pay Grade: 8
