Accessorial Specialist
Facilitate the successful operations of all customer accessorial agreements. Organize fees associated with loads, report additional revenue to management, and coach other departments and professional drivers on how to set the company and its assets up for success in increasing utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in resolving customer and professional driver accessorial issues
- Work with Sales Department in contract record-keeping
- Work with Billing and Payroll to audit professional driver accessorial pay
- Perform administrative duties associated with Fleet Management requests for driver pay
- Monitor compliance and improvement of customer utilization of assets
- Communicate issues with Management promptly
- Network with other departments to ensure quick resolutions to issues that span departments
- Create and upkeep policies and training materials
- Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services
Qualifications:
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of DOT requirements
- Motivated to work in fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, but also able to work in teams
- High School diploma or GED required
- Transportation industry experience preferred
- On-the-job training provided

Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $39,998.40-$62,129.60
Pay Grade: 6
