Driver Qualification Specialist III
The Driver Qualifications Specialist III is responsible for the final review of all pre-employment assessments and tasks related to a driver and their ability to work for the company, along with ensuring that all Driver Qualification Specialist I employees are properly trained on current procedures and helping management come up with new processes and procedures for departmental growth. This role is also responsible for making sure all drivers meet hiring requirements
Responsibilities:
- Train new Driver Qualification Specialist I and II employees in current procedures and processes.
- Execute new workflow processes for current and new procedures for new specialist I positions.
- Must adhere to all FMCSA requirements as well as established Company policies.
- Actively communicate with applicants to get all information needed to complete their Driver Qualification file including employment information and all required documentation.
- Serves as a coach and mentor for newer Qualification Specialists
- Follow department guidelines, including use of identified technologies and methods for obtaining accurate and complete previous employment verifications, and comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Responsible for making sure every application processed is 100% accurate and complete, including all required documentation.
- Audit Driver Files prior to activation to ensure they are compliance with applicable guidelines.
- All notes made in Tenstreet regarding but not limited to, disqualifications, pending, approved, must have detailed commentary to ensure clear communication with recruiting.
- Must be able to perform all tasks completed by Driver Qualifications Specialist II
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good organizational and accurate data entry skills.
- Good time management skills
- Experience working with MS word, Outlook, and Excel
- Must be able to work independently and as a team.
- Detail oriented with commitment to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree required. 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
- Previous experience in driver qualification required.
- Transportation industry experience preferred.
- Teaching and training experience a plus.
- Prior experience working in Tenstreet, TMW, AS400, and/or CS stars preferred.

Pay Range: $19.23-$29.87
Pay Grade: 6
