Senior Accountant
Preparation of timely, accurate and useful financial information, performance metrics, financial reporting and analysis for management and investors in accordance with GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Close and maintain financials for multiple subsidiary companies (responsibilities include but are not limited to: journalizing accounting entries, estimating accruals, reconciling accounts, preparing schedules, reconciling bank accounts and preparing reports for Executives)
- Reconcile and certify journals, accounts and tasks in the Blackline Accounting system as assigned
- Perform financial analysis at the entity, division, department and customer level as assigned.
- Prepare divisional allocations as assigned.
- Provide written and verbal communication of financial results to Executive Management (including coordination of Financial Meetings as assigned)
- Work with Executive Management on projects.
- Prepare and analyze budget & forecast information in TM1 system (as assigned).
- Provide information requested by the external auditors.
- Maintain and Update General Ledger Account Numbers (as assigned).
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of skills as an accountant
- Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of duties and tasks that are moderately complex
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to foster continuous process improvement
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Executive
- Management, Corporate Controller and other Accounting Managers and Staff
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of related and progressive experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Trucking Experience preferred
- Great Plains Dynamics knowledge a plus

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $64,534.65-$101,269.75
Pay Grade: 10
