Diesel Parts Manager
The Parts Manager is responsible for the strategy, direction and day-to-day operation of the parts department meeting the overall needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the processing, procurement, inventory stock, and distribution of parts throughout all facilities to ensure the needs of the overall business.
- Purchase parts based on proper procurement strategies.
- Retains client-based rapport with multiple venders and distributions contacts.
- Maintain a maintenance software program as a key operator for tracking inventory.
- Maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manages invoiced work orders for all terminals to maintain vendor relations and billing for dedicated repairs.
- Responsible for the daily input of all shop work orders for multiple terminals.
- Responsible for managing the transportation of and unloading of time sensitive parts.
- Management of warranties (parts and documentation) for procurement.
- Monthly safety inspections of equipment in shop
- Ensure that the parts department operates in a safe manner and is compliant with all company rules and OSHA regulations.
- Operates forklift equipment as needed.
- Schedule, track, and audit Parts specialist duties
- Perform team member evaluation.
- Perform price comparisons to maintain profitability.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Ability to supervise others.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Proficient knowledge of diesel mechanic services
Education/Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of inventory tracking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CMMS software preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required, CDL preferred

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $56,146.95-$88,833.12
Pay Grade: 9
