Driver Recruiting Transfer Coordinator

Chattanooga, TN

The purpose of the Driver Recruiter Transfer Coordinator is to serve as the main point of contact for any driver within the enterprise that is interested in transferring into a different driver positions. Additionally, this position proactively reaches out to current drivers in the hiring area for openings to inform them of available positions that they may be interested in transferring to. The driver transfer coordinator plays a key role in career pathing for professional drivers and must be organized and knowledgeable on available accounts within the organization.  Additionally, this position has key responsibility for communicating with the driver, operations and recruiting regarding driver transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Process transfer requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicate job requirements to drivers regarding transfers.
  • ⁠Report transfer process to respective stakeholders.
  • Communicate timely updates to recruiting and operations stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all driver transfers.
  • Prepare transfer log reports as needed.
  • Assist in identifying areas of improvement within the transfer process.
  • Ensure that driver transfers are aligned with company policies and requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact between drivers and other departments, providing updates and ensuring smooth transitions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide valuable and timely customer service.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Transportation industry experience preferred.

  • Pay Range: $40,001.00-$62,120.00
  • Pay Grade: 6
