Logistics Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)
The intern will gain significant knowledge in the logistics industry and gain real-world business experience and skills that will prepare them for their future career. This role will work on a variety of projects involving inventory management, warehouse design, logistics modeling and time studies in order to optimize logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Assist in preparing reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other department to achieve mutual goals.
- Obtain an understanding of various warehouse management systems and how their use is integral to the operation.
Qualifications
- Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team when needed.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuing higher education in industrial engineering, supply chain, data analytics or similar field required.
- Senior or graduate student preferred

Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $13.57-$18.55
Pay Grade: 1
