Trailer Technician
As a Trailer Technician, you will perform maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level.
- Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary.
- Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write the English language
- Must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Must have physical ability to climb, bend, and stoop.
- Must have physical ability to always work while on feet.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.

Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $15.00-28.93 hourly
Pay Grade: CTGL1, CTGL8, CTGL10, CTGL13, CTCL15
Tech I: $15-$20.95
Tech II: $16.96-$22.94
Tech III: $18.95-$24.94
Tech IV: $20.95-$25.94
Tech V: $21.95-$28.93
